Collage Animation
The challenge was to create an animated personal story. I chose to animate my journey from Mumbai, India to Pratt Institute, New York in a collage style; depicting the various emotions and experiences from when I got an admit to Pratt to finally coming to New York and starting the semester.

The Process
Concept
To depict my journey from Mumbai, India to Pratt Institute,
New York, USA.
Story
I began by listing down important events that could be the basic story frames.
Sketching
I sketched those basic frames that would show my journey, iterated them, and played around with the order.
Failed Design
The frames in place, I started digitizing them. However, they seemed to be child like and lacked the collage and reality part of it.
Improved Design
I played around with the color scheme, balancing pastel shades, brighter shades, and black and white. The Graphic style was now more collage-like.
